The SP7
The SP7 (Siebe Pogson septet), is an original jazz ensemble and the youngest of Siebe's projects. Although the it is primarily jazz-focused in style, the compositions draw from his wide range of influences including funk, soul, mowtown music, and spanish music. The line-up includes a rotating pool of some of Sydney's finest jazz musicians including Nishcal Manjunath, Nic Cecire, Casey Golden, Ravi T-Ray, Heather Prowse, Miles Sione, Lee Orszaczky, Rhys Moore, and Mitchell Minotta. The group has performed to great sucess at Church Street Studios and Johnston street jazz, the most notable work being "The Gaudí Sketches," a collection of composition's based on the architecture of legendary Catalan architect Antoní Gaudí.
